Welcome to ICICS 2027
The 29th International Conference on Information and Communications Security (ICICS 2027) will be held in Chengdu, China, from October 27 to 30, 2027.
Established in 1997, ICICS is a long-running international forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss advances in information and communications security. ICICS 2027 continues this tradition with a focused technical programme and peer-reviewed research contributions.

Call for Posters
ICICS 2027 will include a poster session for presenting and discussing work in progress, current and emerging research challenges, new research directions and practical approaches in information and communications security. Submissions from academia and industry are welcome, including early-stage research, emerging ideas, system prototypes and interdisciplinary work related to security, privacy, cryptography and trustworthy computing.
Submission guidelines
- Submit a short proposal containing a brief abstract, the motivation for the work, and a summary of the key ideas, methods or preliminary results to be presented.
- Proposals will be evaluated primarily on their potential to stimulate discussion, exchange ideas and encourage future collaboration.
- Proposals must follow the Springer LNCS proceedings style and may be no longer than 5 pages, including the title, abstract, main content and references.
- Poster proposals are not blinded and must include the authors’ names, affiliations and contact information.
- Every poster title must begin with “POSTER:”. Submissions that do not follow the required format may be rejected without review.
- At least one presenter of each accepted poster must register for the conference. Final-poster preparation instructions will be sent to the authors of accepted proposals.

Author instructions
- Submission page: ICICS 2027 on EasyChair ↗
- Originality: Submissions must present original work that has not been published previously and is not under review by another conference, workshop or journal.
- Page format: Papers must be written in English and submitted as PDF files with all fonts embedded. Manuscripts must follow the Springer-Verlag Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format, with reasonable spacing and margins.
- Page limit: Papers may contain no more than 18 pages in LNCS style, including the bibliography. Clearly marked appendices are excluded from the 18-page limit, but the complete submission must not exceed 20 pages.
- Anonymization and review policy: ICICS 2027 uses double-blind review. Submissions must be anonymous and must not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgements or obvious identifying references.
- Compliance: Submissions that do not meet these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits.
- Camera-ready deadline: To be announced.

Authors must prepare their papers using either the LaTeX or Word templates provided by Springer. Please consult Springer’s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings for detailed formatting guidance.
Code of conduct
All authors are required to adhere to Springer Nature’s Code of Conduct for Book Authors.

Recent ICICS proceedings have been published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. The publication arrangement and indexing information for ICICS 2027 are subject to final confirmation.

The conference is tentatively planned for Jinniu Hotel (Sichuan State Guesthouse) ↗.
